Europe Again!

Welcome friends & family.  After a longer interlude than we expected due to Covid and some health issues, we’re on the road again! This year we’re off for a circuit of the UK for the month of June and, once again, we’ll try to keep you up to date with our travels here. We normally try to avoid the summer high season, but this trip is prompted by a special occasion. As you know, Laura and longtime partner Ian made it official and got married in January at our place in Anakiwa. Unfortunately, Ian’s family in the Uk were unable to attend so they’ve decided to have a separate “blessing” ceremony for the family in the village of Over Kellet where Ian’s mother lives. That will be on June 27th and, of course, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to meet more of Ian’s family. Prior to that we’ll do about a three-week circuit of the UK on a C&C (Castles & Cathedrals) tour visiting some old favorites and discovering new ones. We’ll do our best to keep up with posts and pictures of where we are and what we’ve seen.
